Charge ‘er up: Japanese automakers back standard for electric vehicle recharging stations
Apparently, Toyota and Nissan have teamed up to create an organization called CHAdeMO that is working standardizing the stations were you might charge up your electric or hybrid vehicle in the future. Holy smokes, did I make the jackpot or what!? I’m in a Stamper’s 12 group where we get together at Sue’s house (SU rep) and spend a min. of $25 a month, and take turns playing hostess. My name was drawn for February, which happens to be one of the three best months to play hostess because of the Celebration promotion that is on. My sales were so good, that I had lots of free shopping to do, and everything you see in front of me was FREE. Free, Free, Free. No time to stamp today–I’m over at Sharon’s working on my clay project. We’ve been playing with this project for many months, and I hope to come close to completion today. I can’t play all day though–I have a tutorial to shoot for tomorrow. Will take some pics of our projects.

Stampin’ Up Free Goodies
March 12, 2010
Oh goodie, something else for me to spend money on! I haven’t had occasion to travel much with my iPhone up until the past few months, when I’ve really tested the limits of its battery life. And, like most iPhone users, I don’t really have good things to say about it. That’s why I’ll be taking

Visit to the Guggenheim today
I visited Guggenheim in New York today for the first time (every time I’ve meant to visit in the past, I’ve been caught by their early weekday closing time of 5:45pm). Designed by US architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, the building looks kind of like a fanciful parking garage from the outside (my fellow Houstonians will know what I mean) and inside, you get from floor to floor via a continuous ramp that spirals upwards.

A Little Bit of This and That
Had a funny start to my day yesterday. While I was in a nice hot shower (we’re in a deep freeze in Ontario right now), Donnie threw a cup of cold water on me. Silly guy threw it over top of the shower curtain. All I could do was laugh. Spent Sunday afternoon surfing and found some tremendously inspiring things to share with you. That isn’t to say she doesn’t have a shunt–it just wasn’t visible. She also had a neurology consult which was negative as well. We spoke in great length with Dr.
