How to Create a One-Layer Panel Card with the Brayer
Gosh, how do you like the title to this tutorial? Coming up with an appropriate eye-catching title is hard to do each week, and this week was the toughest. If you look at my card and the title, you will notice how I compacted it all in the title. My card is one layer, has the look of 9 panels, and it’s all done with the brayer. So there you have it. Enjoy! Brayer your ink onto glossy cardstock. In my photo I am using Kaleidacolor Caribbean Sea. In my first photo, my other cards use Kaleidacolor Berry Blaze. With a stamp placement product, center your main image on your cardstock.

Isn’t this picture hillarious? My imps sat still for 2 seconds, just long enough for the lady behind the camera to bark to get their attention. After 1 to 2 seconds, Snow and Layla jumped out of the bucket, and another camera lady and I quickly threw them back into the bucket and stepped to the side. This was a repeated process that gave us one great photo. I love my babies and wanted the best photo possible for my selfish needs

How to Create a Monochromatic Card
Today I will show you how to create a monochromatic card. Continuing on from my Introduction to the Colour Wheel and Work Wonders With the Colour Wheel posts, I want to look at monochrome a little more . You will find my tutorial short, as I didn’t want to overdo my colouring steps. I’m confident that you can colour without me bombarding you with “stuff.” To start, pick your designer paper. Choose a paper that uses one colour, or one colour with black or with white. For example, your paper may be a variety of shades of pink or blue, or it might be one colour (pink in my case) with black.

Some how this style of card whispers, “use the brayer, use the brayer.” Check out Diana’s card. She has a lot of talent.

This is one of two items that I spoke of. The funny thing is, I found this card in my scanner and thought that I forgot to send it to Pat. If you know me, you will know I love to colour so I put lots of detail into my faux stained glass card. It is such a fun technique to do because it allows me to be very creative by designing out the pieces of glass

Sarah Kay Birthday Celebration
Sarah Kay stamps are darling, and well loved by all, but especially by us gals who remember the 70’s. My mom did a needlepoint for each of my sisters back then. Who would ever guess that Holly Hobby would be in fashion again. And as a rubber stamp–LOL Since I’m in love with this stamp, I coloured up seven images and turned them into birthday cards. My sister asked for some children’s birthday cards, and since she has an adopted little girl (she has four boys and wanted to complete the family with a daughter)
