Lil Wayne Has a Perfectly Good Reason Why He’s Not in Yuma Right Now

Lil Wayne’s nine days into his sentence at Rikers, but just ’cause he’s locked down doesn’t mean he can’t still be getting into trouble with the law: A Superior Court Judge in Yuma, Arizona, has issued a bench warrant for his arrest after Wayne missed a court hearing (you know, on account of that whole being in jail in another state thing). The proceeding is related to a 2008 arrest at a border checkpoint near Yuma, where Wayne was found with cocaine, Ecstasy, and a handgun, and later charged with possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons, and possession of drug paraphernalia (whew!)

How Will Parks and Recreation Hide Amy Poehler’s Pregnancy?

The news today that Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are expecting their second child poses some questions for the one-camera sitcom: How are they going to deal with Leslie Knope’s baby bump? It’s a particularly sticky issue for Parks , which features way more outdoor and full-body shots than, say, How I Met Your Mother , which dealt with the simultaneous pregnancies of its two female leads, Cobie Smulders and Alyson Hanigan, with a mixture of humor (Hanigan holding a basketball in front of her stomach, other characters noticing at the end of an episode that they haven’t seen her character in days) and the show’s easy settings (at least a quarter of each episode takes place in a bar booth). In the past, shows would either write a character’s pregnancy into the series, or awkwardly try to hide it and in most cases fail miserably (see Julia Louis Dreyfus on Seinfeld — you could practically see the baby kick )

Dragonfly Jet-Powered Helicopter Coming To The US [Dragonfly Helicopter Is Powered By H202 Jets]

Swisscopter America has unveiled a new, energy-efficient and space-saving helicopter powered by a pair of H202-driven jets in its propeller blades.  The Dragonfly DF1 features a pair of hydrogen peroxide-powered tip jets at the end of each blade that spin the propeller to provide lift. The Dragonfly Helicopter by Swisscopter America is not the first to be powered by tip jets, but it is amongst the first to use hydrogen peroxide as a fuel for this technology.  The use of H202 produces no pollution, and a 35 gallon tank can fuel a 100 minute flight.  Since the design does away with the conventional fixed rotor powered within its body, more space and stability are available as a result.  In fact, using this design, a rear rotor is not necessary to stabilize the helicopter, it is used only to rotate the aircraft.

John Park in the Maker Shed: tinyCylon kit build

They let me loose in the Maker Shed, so I grabbed a tinyCylon kit , built it, and embedded it in a busted Nerf gun! Please enjoy the video, and watch out for the noisy lamp. To modify the kit for flexibility, I soldered the LEDs in at full height; you could extend things further by adding some wire between the switch and board, or make an extension for the battery pack. I’d love to hear about other kit modifications people have done
