FBI Looks into iPad e-Mail Leaks

More than a hundred thousand Apple iPad user e-mail addresses reportedly found their way to Gawker.com after hackers sent the addresses to the site. Among those whose addresses were leaked were important personalities, including executives of the New York Times, Time Warner, and HBO. There were also several e-mail addresses that ended with @us.army.mil – pointing to several members of the military as iPad early adopters

One project I can’t wait to see and play with is the Tangible Graffiti Wall , brought from Vancouver by Tangible Interaction ‘s Alex Biem. The Wall has been on display at various events, like the 2010 Winter Olympics, and we’re stoked it’s making its way to the Faire

DIY Pulse Oximeter

Polish engineering student mb1988mb1988 and two friends built this homebrew pulse oximeter . It measures oxygen saturation in a patient by shining two wavelengths of light (infrared and red) through their finger, and recording the changes in light transmission over time. To power it all, they are using an 68HC908AB32 processor.
