How Obama’s electronic medical record plan could jolt content management’s importance
I had a jolt of enthusiasm the other day when drinking my Red Bull and thinking of President Barack Obama’s push for real electronic records management. As Ron Miller said a while ago on the topic : Bex Huff, who is a consultant specializing in Oracle Enterprise Content Management, wonders in a recent blog post if President-elect Obama’s recent radio address calling for the modernization of medical record keeping would be a boon for content management vendors.

What Will It Mean When the eBook Comes First?
Doc has been a big fan of eBooks since they first started hitting the scene back in 1998 with the Rocket Ebook (which I still have in my “closet of failed technology”). The impact of eBooks will go well beyond their current use as a vehicle for Amazon and Borders to deliver best sellers and could have a big impact on the corporate market. Imagine a time when product catalogs, dealer support materials, repair manuals, and other frequently changed field publications can go out electronically and bypass the printing process entirely

Dell UltraSharp U2410 24in Monitor
This is the first in the range 24in to continually divide PVA panels in favor of the IPS, which is probably superior technology, particularly for color critical work. His new H-IPS screen UltraSharp U2410 can offer some pretty impressive specifications, but not least, claiming 8,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio of 96 percent Adobe RGB (110 percent sRGB) color gamut. Together with a low response time, Dell , aos usual plethora of connections and complete control, this monitor is to reverse the glossy HP LP2475w from his throne?

Review of Airlive WL-2000CAM Wireless IP Camera
Cameras hooked to our computers were originally just for playing around, like a webcam for example, and their quality just wasn’t that good. As technology progressed of course they got better and even more features were added, eventually the IP camera was introduced and we had a whole new way of using our cameras. Once wireless became popular we then had wireless IP cameras that offered the best of everything really, you could use your wireless connection to set up your camera most anywhere in you home and use it for surveillance and not have to worry about being tethered to your computer with a cable.

How document management can help you survive this downturn
You need a reminder that the economy is in the dumps right now as much as a paraglider needs a tornado. But the fact remains, the flow of currency is partially paralyzed, and that means skittish companies are cutting budgets and scrutinizing the management of IT expenses, kind of like they did in ‘02 post dot-com bubble bust.
