If you’ve bought a Pandigital Novel eReader, it’s possible you’re having some problems with it. And if you’re not, you likely will be, so the Kohl’s stores that sold them (JC Penny stores don’t seem to have this issue, though) are staging a recall on the eReader. If you bought the Pandigital Novel eReader at a Kohl’s store, you’ll be able to take it back for a full refund and come back for an updated model later

Against Me! Wins World’s Least Coveted Endorsement
Actual subject line of a publicity e-mail we just received: “Leno Calls Against Me! One Of The Best Punk Bands Ever.” Notice, though, that he didn’t call them the best. Presumably that’s a toss-up between Green Day, Sum 41, and GG Allin’s Murder Junkies. Big Boi Goes Bowling in His ‘General Patton’ Video

Leaked: M.I.A. Brings the Noise
M.I.A., ///Y/ Official release date: July 13 The Verdict: As it turns out, Diplo was right : A lot of M.I.A.’s new album actually does sound kinda like Skinny Puppy! Judging by the leak of ///Y/ currently spreading around the Internet, the album is mainly comprised of extremely grating, quasi-industrial noise paired with stiff beats and M.I.A.’s menacingly nasal voice. In the abstract, that’s pretty cool, but the reality of the album is that it is very light on the sort of weapons-grade pop hooks that made her last two records so bold and exciting.

Post-it Index Cards: A ray of light in our otherwise dreary day
You can tell when someone is in love with office products when they actually “test” them in real life situations. Take OfficeSupplyGeek’s look at the Post-It index cards he found at Staples. These mysterious cards can be applied to walls, wood, and dry erase boards and are, for all intents and purposes, basically index cards with stickiness on them

Microsoft’s Oprah moment: You’re all getting Xboxes
Although there was plenty of news coming out of Microsoft today , the most interesting move is their decision to begin shipping the brand new Xbox – it’s basically the old Xbox with 802.11n Wi-Fi, a 250GB hard drive, and Kinect support – the same week they announced it. It’s not quite same day, but it’s close. However, another treat came when they announced all the media at their press event will be getting Xbox 360s immediately and that they would be showing up at their domiciles and places of business posthaste.

E3 2010: Crytek Game “Kindgoms” To Be Xbox 360 Exclusive [Microsoft, Crytek, Announce Exclusive Game "Kingdoms", 300-Style Classical…
During the E3 Microsoft keynote, Microsoft made some news by announcing that Crytek, the folks behind such great shooters as Crysis and Far Cry, will be creating an exclusive game for the Xbox 360, which at this point, is codenamed “Kingdoms.” The game features several “300-style” soldiers and looks to be set in that classical/ancient sort of Roman/Greek time period. Unfortunately, we didn’t learn what sort of game it would be.

The multiplayer story is what makes the game unique and it will bring you lots of hours of intense gaming alongside up to four of your friends.
