HP Vancouver Site Purchased by SEH Group
A piece of HP property in Vancouver, Washington was the proverbial birthplace of the HP inkjet printer. This is where, 30 years ago, engineers for the company put together what is perhaps one of the most common items in US households today – the inkjet printer. The inkjet printer boom in the 80s and the 90s also lead to a boom in the Vancouver manufacturing line, and at one point, the plant had a workforce 3,500 strong
